About Narbheram Finance Co Ltd.
Narbheram Finance Co. Ltd. (a closely held public limited company) is a non banking finance Company duly registered with Reserve Bank of India as a Non-deposit taking Asset Finance Company pursuing primarily traditional business of financing infrastructure and construction equipments and allied assets. The company was promoted by Kamani family, a leading business family of Jamshedpur, having more than 80 years of consistent profitable operations in Industry, Trade and Services.
The promoters initially entered financing activities in 1972 by floating a partnership firm in the name and style of “Equipment Service Centre”. The firm initially started with long term leasing of various equipments viz. Air Conditioners, water coolers etc. to various TATA group of Companies located at Jamshedpur and its neighbourhood.
In early 1998, the promoters led by our current CMD, Mr. J.P. Kamani ventured to enter assets financing activities and floated a public limited company in the name and style of “ Narbheram Finance Co. Ltd.” and secured due registration with Reserve Bank of India as a Non Banking Finance Company (NBFC). In due course the erstwhile partnership got merged into the newly floated company.
